We are pleased to announce the publication of a new edition of Edgar Miller and the Handmade Home: Chicago’s Forgotten Renaissance Man, by Richard Cahan and Michael Williams. Now in its third edition, Handmade Home remains the most important resource for exploring the story and masterworks of Edgar Miller’s long and prolific career. With stunning photography by Alexander Vertikoff, Handmade Home takes you inside the artist’s incredible built environments, which have inspired countless admirers and are still lived in to this day. 

The new edition of the book is now available for pre-order and will be available for pick-up at the in-person launch event and program at DePaul Art Museum in Chicago on January 25th, 2025. You can also purchase the book at the event. Shipments of the book (pre-order and regular sales) will begin on January 31st, 2025.
